Shaping Australia's EV Landscape: Infinitev Hosts Electric Vehicle Council

Infinitev recently welcomed Graeme Trebley, the newly appointed Partnerships Manager from the Electric Vehicle Council (EVC) to our facility, providing an opportunity to showcase the full spectrum of our expertise and innovation in EV battery management. The visit was an opportunity to exchange insights on the current landscape of electrification, the roadblocks that remain, and how our work at Infinitev fits into the larger picture of Australia's EV transition.

Addressing Industry Gaps with Forward-Thinking Solutions

One of the central themes of our discussions was the need for a stronger, more cohesive approach to policy and infrastructure support for EV batteries. As Australia’s electrification gains momentum, gaps in battery recycling and end-of-life management have become clear. For example, EOL black mass, the valuable material left after battery recycling, is still being exported overseas. This not only raises environmental and economic concerns but also highlights an opportunity for local solutions. At Infinitev, we see this as a critical area for growth—developing advanced, homegrown capabilities for not only battery recycling but reuse that keep valuable resources within Australia’s economy.

At Infinitev, we’re not just responding to the growing demands of electrification—we’re shaping the future of it.

Our Technical Capabilities: Setting Industry Standards

During the tour of our facility, we were proud to demonstrate the cutting-edge technology and certified processes that drive our success. We’ve invested in state-of-the-art equipment and developed a team of experts focused on remanufacturing and repurposing EV batteries with the highest levels of precision and sustainability.

Our ability to innovate and refine processes keeps us ahead of the curve, ensuring that we continue to offer unmatched value in battery reuse and lifecycle management.

Leading with Accreditation and Engineering Excellence

Infinitev’s commitment to maintaining the highest engineering standards stands out.

Our focus on engineering excellence not only ensures the integrity and performance of the batteries we remanufacture but also sets the benchmark for others to follow.

Driving the Transition to a Circular Economy

At Infinitev, we are driven by a vision of a fully circular economy for EV batteries—one that minimizes waste and maximizes value. Every step we take, from extending the life of existing batteries to developing new uses for EOL materials, is aligned with this vision. The future of electrification requires more than just responding to immediate needs; it demands forward-thinking leadership that can anticipate and solve tomorrow’s challenges.

Our partnership with EVC and other key stakeholders' positions Infinitev to not only lead this transition but to set the standard for what’s possible in battery lifecycle management. By leveraging our expertise, we are helping to build an ecosystem that supports sustainable electrification from start to finish.
